Dr. Chaudhuri received her Ph. D. from Purdue University in Economics. Her Ph.D. dissertation investigates, through laboratory experiments, influences of social recognition on charitable donation, gender difference in risk taking attitude and differential asset sharing due to competition and cooperation.
Prior to joining PERC, Dr. Chaudhuri worked as a Business Analyst in the Risk Management Team of American Express. She also taught economics and statisticas at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Purdue University.
Dr. Chaudhuri earned her Masters in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute.
