Kitchenman is an expert in the fields of banking, payments and digital marketing and an adjunct instructor in Social Sciences. He routinely advises leading global banks and professional services firms, and his work has been quoted before Congress, state legislatures, the US Supreme Court and a host of government agencies including the FTC, the FCC, the FDIC, and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
A widely sought public speaker, Kitchenman is the author of two books and more than forty studies or articles covering issues of economic development, the strategic use of technology in financial services, and the use and impact of more freely transparent consumer and commercial information globally. Prior to joining PERC, Kitchenman served as Vice President of Research at MasterCard Worldwide, creating the company's first advisory research group. He began his career as an international banker, representing leading US financial institutions in Latin America and Europe, residing many years overseas as an expatriate.
Mr. Kitchenman received his graduate degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in International Economics and International Affairs, and his BA from the George Washington University Elliot School of International Affairs (ESIA).
