Patrick Walker attended the Capital Access Innovation Summit, hosted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Small Business Administration. The summit will feature panels and breakout sessions that assess opportunities to strengthen capital formation for entrepreneurs, small and growing companies. Particular attention will focus on (1) public and private capital market access, (2) data innovation and new financial technology, and (3) support for small business growth by large corporations. Summit participants will include entrepreneurs and corporate executives, lenders and investors, government officials, and academics. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, SBA Administrator Karen Mills, Director of the National Economic Council Gene Sperling, and Treasury Under Secretary for Domestic Finance Mary Miller, are among those expected to address the summit.
